To The Elkins Park Residents of Cheltenham Township:

 

On Aug. 5th, 2010 CTPD stopped a suspicious male in the area of Old York and Melrose. The male was subsequently arrested and has been tied to several burglaries in the Elkins Park section of the Township. This is an evolving investigation and detectives are still working on these cases.

 

There have not been any burglaries reported in this section since the arrest of the suspect.
